Just an update on Jase and his work. Things have moved alot faster then we thought, and yesterday Jase was transferred from Combat Camera to the Wounded Warrior Battalion. We're both feeling really positive about this opportunity for Jase to focus on his healing from the PTSD. We know he'll never be "all better", but any better would be a relief, and now, that is what his job is -- healing some of the fractures in his mind.

Love, love, LOVE the getting to know you segment!! Isn't it great to be able to blog it and EVERYBODY knows all at once??? That's often how I feel about blogging... until everybody finds out everything by reading the blog and we have nothing to talk about over the phone, ha ha. :D Our anniversary's in December, so maybe I'll have to do an Owens Family version of what you did last week!!

i'm glad jason gets to move on a bit. skip has dealt with a lot of his soldiers having PTSD and i know it is insanely difficult on a family. hang in there chica.
